How to enable KDE Oxygen Mouse Cursors in Ubuntu 11.04

Tutorial on how to enable KDE Oxygen coloured mouse cursors in Ubuntu Unity and Gnome Desktops. An old bug prevents KDE mouse cursors being selected through Desktop Theme – Pointers. Workaround is with this terminal command line: sudo update-alternatives –config x-cursor-theme and then log out / reboot Packages for KDE mouse cursors: oxygen-cursor-theme oxygen-cursor-theme-extra

Obi-Wan the Cursor
